October the 31st is Reformation date now you may have never heard this but Reformation Day is a Protestant religious holiday celebrating the onset of the Protestant Reformation when the German monk Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses on a church door in Wittenberg Germany in 1517 this Reformation day for 2017 marks the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation and on October the 31st 2017 something big is about to happen this can drastically change Protestant Christianity as we know it it’s not good and it’s a fulfillment of end time Bible prophecy from the book of Revelation I’m going to tell you what that is right now but before I do make sure to subscribe to my channel and click on the bell icon so you don’t miss any of my future uploads an article from the Catholic Herald entitled the Pope’s great evangelical gamble States somewhere in Pope Francis’s office is a document that could alter the course of Christian history it declares an end to hostilities between Catholics and evangelicals and says the two traditions are now united in mission because we are declaring the same gospel the Holy Father is thinking of signing the text in 2017 the 500th anniversary of the Reformation alongside evangelical leaders representing roughly one in four Christians in the world today Francis is convinced that the Reformation is already over he believes it ended in 1999 the year the Catholic Church and the Lutheran World Federation issued a joint declaration on justification the doctrine at the heart of Luther’s protest ultimately Pope Francis wants to reverse the Protestant Reformation and bring those churches back under the authority of Rome he’s not interested in making a compromise between Catholics and Protestants and working together as some may think because as the article I read said he is convinced that the Reformation is already over he believes it ended in 1999 so the only thing left for him to do is to convince Protestants that it’s over so they will you with the Roman Catholic Church and stop protesting against it don’t believe me when Pope Francis traveled to Sweden last year to commemorate the Protestant Reformation CBS News published an article online entitled Pope arrives in Sweden to mark 500 years since Protestant Reformation and it says Pope Francis traveled to secular Sweden on Monday to mark the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation a remarkably bold gesture given his very own Jesuit religious order was founded to defend the faith against Martin Luther’s heretical reforms five centuries ago heretical who wrote this this is disturbing Martin Luther was actually trying to reform the church because of its abuses including the sale of indulgences it wasn’t Martin Luther who was guilty of heresy it was the roman catholic church but the church rejected his efforts and ended up excommunicating him anyway let’s continue while the visit initially raised eyebrows the Vatican and Lutheran Church both insists the event is no celebration of Luther’s revolt revolt notice the language used here it’s making Luther and Protestantism seem illegitimate when the Reformation was actually God’s doing this is hard for me to read but let’s try and get through the rest of this rather they say it’s a solemn commemoration to ask forgiveness for the schism in western Christianity and rejoiced that relations have improved in the last five decades so the purpose of the Pope’s participation in these holidays honoring the Protestant Reformation is not to celebrate Luther or the Reformation but to resolve the schism between the churches in effect uniting them together and reversing the Reformation by the way in case you guys didn’t know Pope Francis is a Jesuit and the reason the Jesuits were established was to lead the Counter Reformation of the Catholic Church that is to reverse the progress of the Protestant Reformation it looks like he’s doing a pretty good job too because so far he’s got the charismatic sand the Lutheran’s on his side and now he’s going after the evangelicals this is prophetic we are seeing happening is the deadly wound of the beast from Revelation chapter 13 verse 3 being healed it says I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death and his deadly wound was healed in all the world wondered after the Beast the Beast is the papacy and the wound that it’s talking about here is the loss of the papacy political and religious power after Pope Pius the 6th was taken captive by General Berthier of the French army in 1798 and died in captivity a year later by the way for more details on that check out my video entitled Pope’s deadly wound healed I’ll leave a card to it in the upper right hand corner of the screen which you can click on to watch the papacy regained this political status in 1929 by the signing of the Lateran treaty but it’s still in the process of regaining religious domination of the world but that’s only a matter of time according to Bible prophecy Revelation chapter 13 verse 3 says all the world will wonder after the Beast and that is what this unity between Catholics and Protestants is leading to a one-world religion dominated by the Roman Catholic Church once that is accomplished Rome’s deadly wound will be fully healed then the stage will be set for the final conflict between good and evil among other things the mark of the beast will be enforced and the seven last plagues will be poured out afterwards Jesus Christ will return are you ready Pope Francis is convinced that Protestantism ended with the signing of the joint declaration on the doctrine of justification in 1999 the Roman Catholic Church claims that since justification by faith was at the heart of Luther’s split from Rome and the Protestant Reformation there is no protest anymore because the Catholic Church agrees with justification by faith now Tony Palmer spoke about this a few years ago when he held that meeting with Kenneth Copeland and some charismatic leaders to unite Catholics and charismatic because in 1999 the Roman Catholic Church and the Protestant Lutheran Church signed an agreement that brought an end to the protest Luther believed that we were saved by grace through faith alone amen but that’s not it the Catholic Church believed that we were saved by works and that was the protest in 1999 they wrote this together because in the Protestant church there a lot of cheap salvations people were getting born-again but no fruit whatsoever and because we didn’t even look for fruits it wasn’t the issue because it wasn’t necessary for salvation and now it’s not but it’s a good judge if you are saved so what these two churches did they put the two definitions together listen to it I’m reading verbatim from the Catholic Vatican website justification means that Christ Himself is our righteousness in which we share through the Holy Spirit in accord with the will of the Father together we Catholics and Protestants Lutheran’s believe and confess that by grace alone in faith in Christ’s saving works and not because of any merit on our part we are accepted by God and receive the Holy Spirit who renews our hearts while equipping and calling us to good works this brought an end to the protests of Luther brothers and sisters Luther’s protest is over is yours his Luther’s protests over if Luther were alive today he would beg to differ because justification by faith is not the only issue Luther or early Protestants had with the Roman Catholic Church for example the website prayer foundation.org explains that the theology of the Protestant reformers departed from the Catholic Church primarily on the basis of three great principles those included the sole authority of Scripture and justification by faith alone and the priesthood of the believer these are common beliefs accepted by all Protestant churches the sole authority of Scripture or Sola scriptura as they called it means that Protestants regard the Bible as the ultimate authority for the Christian in matters of faith and practice life and conduct this is confirmed by 2nd Timothy chapter 3 verses 15 through 16 which says and that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine for reproof for correction for instruction in righteousness but the Catholic Church doesn’t accept this because it relies on apostolic tradition therefore the Bible and tradition are both equally authoritative in the Roman Catholic Church so until the Roman Catholic Church changes that Dogma the protest is not over now in terms of justification by faith alone the Catholics claim they have the same belief as the Protestants now since 1999 but when you study the Catholic sacraments I don’t think that’s really the case for example Protestants believe that we are justified of our sins that is we are forgiven for our sins through faith alone in Christ alone by grace alone and that’s biblical Ephesians chapter 2 verses 8 through 9 says for by grace are you through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of works lest any man should boast yet in the Roman Catholic Church God’s grace is delivered through the sacraments and explaining the sacraments on study com in an article entitled the seven Catholic sacraments definition and history Catholic scholar Amy true Lynn writes in Baptism God’s saving grace his very presence enters into the human soul confirmation provides a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit which helps the confirmed Catholic witness to Christ and lead a mature Christian life in reconciliation which is also called confession or penance a Catholic confesses his or her sins to a priest in the spirit of true repentance and receives forgiveness Catholics believe then that sacraments point to and our channels of God’s grace they work as an effective means of communication between God and His people and canon four of the Council of Trent States if any one say that the sacraments of the new law are not necessary unto salvation but superfluous that means unnecessary and event without them or without the desire thereof men obtain of God through faith alone the grace of justification though all the sacraments are not indeed necessary for every individual let him be anathema which means accursed therefore in the Roman Catholic Church you can’t obtain salvation without the sacraments it’s not until you observe them the Khans grace is granted to you through them the protest is not over now in terms of the priesthood of the believer the third great principle of Protestantism that means that all believers are priest before God through our great high priest Jesus Christ and we have direct access to God through Jesus this is confirmed by first Peter chapter 2 verse 5 which says ye also as lively stones are built up a spiritual house an holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ in the Roman Catholic Church’s defense it teaches that the priesthood of all believers is true but the difference between the Protestant and the Catholic view is Protestants don’t believe they need any earthly mediator to come before God and that’s based on first Timothy chapter 2 verse 5 which says for there is one God and one mediator between God and men the man Christ Jesus however if you want your sins to be forgiven in the Catholic Church you need to go to confession and confess them to a priest to receive absolution this is still practiced in the Catholic Church so the protest is not over in addition on the basis of the priesthood of all believers and that Christ is our only mediator between us and God the Reformers rejected such teachings and practices as the mediation of Mary and the Saints the doctrine of transubstantiation the mass as a sacrifice purgatory prayers for the dead and the authority of the Pope what’s more most of the major Protestant reformers identified the papacy as the Antichrist of Bible prophecy for example Martin Luther said we are of the conviction that the papacy is the seat of the real Antichrist personally I declare that I owe the Pope no other obedience than that to Antichrist there’s a lot more that can be said about the Protestant Reformation and the Union that’s taking place between Catholics and Protestants today like this is actually a step back in progress the Protestant Reformation of the 1500s helped move Europe out of the Dark Ages and led to the rise of true religious freedom and the separation of church and state which is expressed in the First Amendment of the United States Constitution and if you eliminate Protestantism and all that it stands for it’s only a matter of time before we regress to ancient times religiously as a matter of fact that’s exactly what Bible prophecy predicts will happen the mark of the beast which Revelation chapter 14 indicates revolves around worship will be forced on the world and those who reject it will be persecuted for more details on that check out my video entitled ten facts about the mark of the beast Satan doesn’t want you to know Pope Francis plans to sign an agreement with evangelicals ending hostilities between them and Catholics on Reformation day October the 31st 2017 the Pope believes the Protestant Reformation is over and Protestants and Catholics should unite the problem with that is many of the protests which the Reformers had against the Catholic Church are still valid today the Roman Catholic Church hasn’t made any significant changes it’s actually many of the mainline Protestant churches who have changed and forgetting their origins and the reason they exist to proclaim the gospel and protest against false doctrines and that’s being made evident because they are uniting with Rome if the major mainline Protestant churches will declare their protest is over and unite with Rome and they will according to Bible prophecy this will lead to a regression of all the progress the Protestant Reformation has accomplished and the world will fall back into medieval religious practices because row will have religious domination over the world and Rome hasn’t changed thank you for watching check out my new
