Thiruvananthapuram: Online applications are invited from candidates from the Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist and Parsi communities for Post-School Scholarships. Students who are currently pursuing a high school Plus-Two for those attending a Ph.D. are eligible to apply.
The online application deadline is November 30th.
In order to apply, all Institute officials and Heads of Institutions are required to register ‘Know Your Customer’ on the National Scholarship Portal using their Aadhar Number.
Candidates belonging to minority communities and whose annual family income does not exceed Rs 2 lakh can apply for this scholarship. Applicants must have obtained at least 50% marks or its equivalent in board or university examinations for the previous year. (50% marks do not apply to applicants wishing to renew the scholarship).
Applicants must be senior high school, diploma, postgraduate, postgraduate, master or doctoral students from government, subsidized or accredited institutes without assistance.
Those who are pursuing professional courses in ITI, ITC, Plus-One and Plus-Ttwo Students who also choose technical and vocational courses can apply for the scholarship.
ITIs and ITCs must follow the National Vocational Training Council.
Students who received the scholarship in the previous year can also apply for renewal using their Registration ID.
