The 2022 recruitment cycle is in full swing as some of the best high school football players across the country continue to announce their college decisions.
During the week of November 20 and ending November 26, there were 28 players committed to the Power Five College football program, including 21 potential players in the 2022 class and seven lower tier students. Of the players who committed this week, one is rated a five-star prospect and five is rated four-star according to 247Sports Composite.
The list of Power Five schools that secured at least one commitment this week includes (in alphabetical order): Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi (2), Missouri (2), Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Oregon (2), Rutgers, Tennessee, Texas, Texas Tech (3), Utah, Vanderbilt, Washington State and Wisconsin.
It should be noted that oral commitments are non-binding and that projections in the 2022 class will not be able to be made official until the early signing period for Section One, which begins on December 15, 2021 and ends on December 17, 2021. Those who choose not to sign during the early period will be able to do so in National Signature Day on February 2, 2022.
