If you’re in the market for a tablet, there’s no better time to consider picking one out than over the Black Friday weekend. Here we’ve rounded up a bunch of deals on the latest and greatest listings from the likes of Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, and more.

Tablets fill all kinds of ports, with some serving as the perfect tool or game to keep your little ones learning or entertained, as a multimedia device for on-the-go entertainment, as a way to create content for digital artists or as a productivity device that outperforms traditional laptops in terms of portability.

Apple iPads are some of the most popular tablets, but Microsoft’s Surface line, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab series and Amazon’s Fire tablet range are all worth considering, too.

Check out our rankings of the best tablets and the best cheap tablets for inspiration and some detailed buying tips, so you know what to look for.

What tablet deals are available?

You occasionally see an odd amount of money from an iPad, so look at retailers like Currys and Argos in the UK or brands like Best Buy, if you’re in the US, because Apple itself doesn’t often discount their iPads. There are always iPads in her store that are refurbished all year round. Official sellers, such as KRCS can sometimes offer more competitive rates as well.

Android tablets are more likely to sell for more competitive prices, primarily because of the lower recommended retail prices in general – although higher-ticket Samsung tablets can also get a good price cut – so keep an eye peeled for this page.

There are, of course, 2-in-1 tablets that run on more powerful hardware and software, such as the Microsoft Surface line, running Windows. Although the price tag is a bit steep, we have an entire article dedicated to Microsoft Surface deals, covering the latest models, accessories, regular prices, and of course where to find the best deals — including how to spot deals on refurbished devices and find student discounts.

All Amazon Fire tablets have low prices to start with and are criminally low when they go on sale, which is often surprising. It tends to drop from “affordable” to “basic,” with offers across the range.

If you find that you’re missing out on Amazon’s Lightning deals, which only last a few hours and offer limited stock, we recommend signing up for Amazon’s 30-day free trial of Prime, which will give you access to deals 30 minutes before anyone else. Plus, you’ll get free next-day delivery with the Prime trial, plus access to Prime Instant Video and more.
