The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Haryana, in collaboration with the Ministry of Minorities, has invited applications for scholarships for eligible students in Post-University Admission and Means of Merit for the 2021-22 year.
Only students with 50 percent or more of the scores can apply to take advantage of this system.
Providing the information, a spokesperson said that eligible students belonging to minority communities – Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Christian, Jain and Parsi – can apply online on the national scholarship portal www.scholarships.gov.in by November 30.
He said it was necessary to issue the income certificate and minority certificate from the competent authority declared by the state government. The scholarship for eligible applicants will be transferred directly to the students/guardians’ bank account.
An applicant can only benefit from a scholarship for one course at a time. For the online scholarship application, it is necessary to attach Final Examination Certificate, Income Tax Certificate, Minority Community Certificate, Bank Account Book, PAN Card and Aadhaar Number documents along with the application form.
