Alpha Patriots vows to increase NPP’s votes in 2024 elections

A pro-NPP youth group, Alpha Patriots, has pledged to mobilize its 16,000 members across Ghana to enable the party to achieve its “Break the Eight” goal.

The group indicated its intent to campaign on a large scale and secure more than 25,000 votes for the NPP in the 2024 general election.

At the official inauguration of the group in the regional capital of Ashanti, Kumasi, Alpha Patriots National President George Kwarteng explained that the goal of the group is to build very active youth to campaign and support the NPP to continue staying in power.

He said its members believe that only the NPP can run the affairs of the country through its youth-focused policies such as Free SHS, the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO), and the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program (NEIP).

He accused the group members of going all out and spreading the PNP government’s policies to the people of Ghana and not waiting for the elections to approach.

“Our membership continues to grow day by day across the country, and our goal is to have 25,000 NPP votes by the end of the 2024 election. That is our goal.

Mr Kwarteng also urged the group members to keep working hard and be active in politics, so that they too can rise to a high level to occupy key positions in the party.

The founder of Alpha Patriots, Kwabena Ampofo Appiah noted that young people play an important role in helping any political party win power in Ghana and that the National Progressive Party, as a political party that believes in democracy, sees young people as the future of this country.

He explained that he expected the group members to be ready, energetic and energetic to be able to start a campaign to disseminate the policies of the NPP government among the masses.

Mr. Ambovo Appiah added that they will organize training workshops in entrepreneurship, information technology and leadership to build the capacity of group members to prepare them for the transformational party agenda.

“With all of this government’s youth policies, we are mobilizing young people to highlight the progress the NPP has made since we took over in 2017.”

Other speakers at the event called on group members to remain united and loyal and work hard for the party to retain power in 2024.

Among the notables present at the event are; Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Justin Kodwa Frimpong, Registrar of the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat, Kingsley Agyemang, Member of Parliament for Afigia Kwaber North, Collins Adamako Mensah, Ashanti Regional Organizer for the NPP, Francis Adamako and other leading members in NPP.
